Please do not use the EMBA oral defense application instructions and forms from the Graduate Institute of Management.

At the early stage of thesis writing, students must confirm with their advisor whether the thesis topic and content align with the department's professional field.

The EMBA Course Completion Survey, EMBA Master's Oral Defense Committee Recommendation Form, and Thesis Non-Plagiarism Statement will be sent after oral defense registration. Please refer to the department website for the oral defense registration period announcements. (Early October for the first semester, early April for the second semester)

The following applies to students admitted from the 2023 academic year (Academic Year 112):
In line with the Ministry of Education’s thesis quality requirements, the graduate degree examination regulations have been partially revised. A new provision has been added: "At the early stage of thesis writing, graduate students must confirm with their advisor that the thesis topic and content align with the department's professional field. Before the degree examination—in the semester prior to the exam or no later than the course add/drop deadline in the exam semester—students must, according to the department's schedule, submit the thesis topic and research objectives to the department for review to ensure alignment with the department’s professional field." Starting from the 2023 academic year, only students whose thesis topic and research objectives are confirmed by the department to align with its professional field may apply for the degree examination.
